Day 01: Arrival in NJP to Phuentsholing and to Thimphu
After processing the permit, start the scenic and pleasant drive towards Thimphu. En route visit:
Kharbandi Gompa: It is a photography spot and overlooks the Indian plains and majestic mountains. Thimphu is the bustling little city and main center of commerce, religion and government in the country.
Clock Tower Square: Situated at the heart of Thimphu city, it is one of the busiest areas and people gather and hangout there. You may also witness programs or some exhibitions there, if organized. There are many shops, restaurants, and cafes to hop in. Stroll around the town and enjoy the beautiful art and architectural structures.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
Thimphu is the most modern city in Bhutan with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs, and shopping centers. However, it still retains its’ cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization. In Thimphu, you will enjoy the most attractive sightseeing as mentioned here.
Buddha Dordenma: It is located atop in Kuenselphodrang Nature Park, is one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world.
National Memorial Chorten: It was built in the memory of Third DrukGyalpo and is dedicated to World Peace.
Folk Heritage Museum: It provides visitors with fascinating insights into the Bhutanese material culture and glimpse of the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle.
Takin zoo: Takin is Bhutan’s national animal. Takin Preserve is located at Motithang, a 15 minutes’ drive from Thimphu Town. An enclosed area in the woods away from the settlement houses herds of Takin and some other rare animals such as Muntjac deer, Sambar, and Serow.
Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Market: It is a perfect place to get a glimpse inside art and craft of Bhutan. One can also buy souvenirs which will help our local entrepreneurs. In the evening, you may visit the KajaThrom, a newly established market and park as per the command from His Majesty the King, where you will witness the models of dinosaurs, eateries, recreational market, and there may be a chance to witness cultural show by our artists.

Day 03: Thimphu to Paro (Excursion to Dochula Pass)
After our leisure breakfast, you will start your journey to
Dochula Pass: The pass is a popular location among tourists as it offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayan Mountain range. The view is especially scenic on clear, winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens (stupas) gracing the mountain pass. After the sightseeing, our representatives will drive towards Paro. Enroute you may stop for some time to take photographs at the viewpoint of Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan. Paro is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley.
TachogLhakhang: TachogLhakhang meaning the ‘Temple of the Hill of the Excellent Horse’ was built by the legendary Great Iron Bridge Builder, ThangtongGyalpo (1385-1464). Crossing this very old bridge with its swaying and undulating movements can be quite an experience.
National Museum: Paro is home to the National Museum which is an ancient watch tower that now displays hundreds of ancient Bhutanese artifacts and artwork including traditional costumes, armour, weaponry, and handcrafted implements for daily life. The collection at the National Museum preserves a snapshot of the rich cultural traditions of the country.
Rinpung Dzong: "Fortress on a Heaps of Jewel", the dzong is one of the finest examples of Bhutanese architecture.
Bird's Eye Viewpoint: Also known as Airport viewpoint, it offers exquisite view of Paro valley. It is a perfect place for photographs having backdrop of Paro International Airport and the valley. Evening at leisure also you may visit another KajaThrom which is inaugurated on 13th October 2022 coinciding with Royal Wedding.
Later in the evening, you can stroll around Paro town on your own.

Day 04: Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast, we will start our day hike to Tiger’s Nest monastery.
Taktsang Lhakhang: The monastery is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. This temple is one of the most holy sites in the kingdom and clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the Paro Valley. No trip to Bhutan would be complete without a visit to this remarkable heritage site. Evening at leisure

Day 05: Paro to Phuentsholing to NJP drop.
Drive back towards NJP as you admire the scenery around. Complete the immigration process at Phuntesholing and drop by at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
